2019 In Gratitude: For the Season of Our Lives

 

We Thank You Our Beloved Creator for the Gift of Winter.

For it is here we have come to receive your acceptance of ourselves

For the honoring of human frailty, the wondrous combining of flesh and spirit

And for the finite number of our days upon the earth.

 

 

We Thank You Our Beloved Creator for the Gift of Spring.

For it is here we experience the earliest and last days of innocence

For holy awakening stirring the drink of God-given imagination

For liveliness, and wide-eyed openness toward tomorrow.

 

 

We Thank You Our Beloved Creator for the Gift of Summer.

For it is here we live with an inflamed zeal which drives us onward

For unbridled energy which dares us on to new adventures

And for passions ignited and unforeseen outcomes which both bless and scar

 

 

We Thank You Our Beloved Creator for the Gift of Autumn.

For it is here we appreciate the slowing down of life within and without

For maturity that was once out of reach…we now know intuitively

And for love lessons that both give us strength and pause…we remember
